BNS: आने वाले 1 जुलाई से तीनों नए क्रिमिनल लॉ लागू हो जाएंगे। केंद्र सरकार की ओर से तीनों कानूनों को 1 जुलाई 2024 से लागू करने की अधिसूचना जारी कर दी गई है। तीनों नए आपराधिक कानून आईपीसी और सीआरपीसी की जगह लेंगे। इनका नाम भारतीय न्याय संहिता होगा।
The Centre on Saturday announced that the three new criminal laws – the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita and the Bharatiya Sakshya Adhiniyam – that seek to completely overhaul the country’s criminal justice system will come into force from July 1. But it has also put on hold a new penal provision in hit-and-run cases under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita.
