Rahul Gandhi America Daura: 11 सितंबर को, भारतीय जनता पार्टी (बीजेपी) की सिख शाखा ने नेता विपक्ष राहुल गांधी के घर के बाहर जोरदार प्रदर्शन किया। ये विरोध राहुल गांधी द्वारा अमेरिका दौरे के दौरान सिख समुदाय पर दिए गए बयान को लेकर हुआ। बीजेपी नेता आरपी सिंह ने राहुल गांधी से माफी की मांग की और कहा, “राहुल गांधी ने विदेशी धरती पर भारत की बदनामी की है। उन्होंने बयान दिया कि भारत में सिखों को पगड़ी पहनने की इजाजत नहीं है, वे कड़ा नहीं पहन सकते, और गुरुद्वारा नहीं जा सकते।”
बीजेपी नेता ने यह भी कहा, “क्या राहुल गांधी अपने पिता के शासन को भूल गए हैं? जब दिल्ली में कई सिखों की हत्या की गई थी।” बीजेपी का कहना है कि राहुल गांधी ने अपने बयान से न केवल भारत, बल्कि सिख समुदाय का भी अपमान किया है और उन्हें तुरंत माफी मांगनी चाहिए।

Has Rahul Gandhi forgotten the rule of his father? When in Delhi itself, many Sikhs were killed,” the BJP leader said.
