Lakhinpur में युवक की मौत पर बवाल, शव लेकर बैठे परिजनों को CO ने हड़काया, लखीमपुर खीरी (Lakhinpur Kheri) जिले में कथित तौर पर पुलिस हिरासत में हुई एक युवक की मौत के मामले ने तूल पकड़ लिया है. परिजनों ने पुलिस पर आरोप लगाते हुए शव का अंतिम संस्कार करने से इनकार कर दिया है. जब पुलिस अधिकारी दल बल के साथ मृतक का अंतिम संस्कार कराने पहुंचे तो उनकी परिजनों से तीखी बहस हो गई. इस दौरान सीओ पीपी सिंह अपना आपा खो बैठे और मृतक के परिवार को ही धमकाने लगे. CO समझाने के बाद कहते नजर आ रहे हैं कि ‘ना तो मझगई थाना सस्पेंड हो, ना निघासन थाना सस्पेंड हो और ना तुझे 30 लाख रुपए दें। तेरे पे जितने दिन रखना है, रख ले डेडबॉडी को। हम यहां से जा रहे हैं। 3 दिन, 4 दिन जब तक रखना हो रख लो।’

The case of a youth’s alleged death in police custody in Lakhimpur Kheri district has escalated. The family of the deceased has refused to perform the last rites, accusing the police of wrongdoing. When police officials arrived with a team to conduct the last rites, a heated argument broke out with the family. During this, Circle Officer (CO) PP Singh lost his temper and started threatening the deceased’s family. The CO was heard saying, “Neither the Majhgai police station nor the Nighasan police station will be suspended, and you won’t get 30 lakh rupees. Keep the dead body for as long as you want. We’re leaving now. Keep it for three or four days if you wish.”
