त्तर प्रदेश के विधानसभा चुनावों में भारतीय जनता पार्टी को मिले भारी बहुमत के बाद विरोधियों ने ईवीएम (इलेट्रॉनिक वोटिंग मशीन) में गड़बड़ी का मुद्दा उठाया था। अब इस मामले को और हवा देते हुए दिल्ली के सीएम अरविंद केजरीवाल ने चुनाव आयोग को एक पत्र लिखा है। इस पत्र में केजरीवाल ने दिल्ली में होने वाले आगामी नगरपालिका चुनाव (MCD) में ईवीएम मशीन का इस्तेमाल ना करने की मांग की है। बात दें कि अगले महीने अप्रैल में एमसीडी चुनाव होने हैं। अरविंद केजरीवाल ने चुनाव आयोग से कहा कि एमसीडी इलेक्शन ईवीएम मशीन की जगह बैलेट पेपर से कराए जाएं। अरविंद की इस मांग पर ट्विटर पर उनकी काफी खिचाई की जा रही है। बता दें कि 11 मार्च को पांच राज्यों के विधानसभा चुनाव नतीजे आने के बाद कई नेताओं ने ईवीएम मशीन में गड़बड़ी किए जाने का दावा किया था और जांच की मांग की थी।
इसी मद्देनजर सोमवार को कांग्रेस नेता अजय माकन ने दिल्ली के मुख्यमंत्री को एमसीडी चुनाव बैलेट पेपर से कराए जाने की सलाह दी थी। अजय माकन ने ट्विट कर लिखा था, “ईवीएम मशीन पर कई लोगों ने सवाल खड़े किए हैं। मैं चाहता हूं कि निष्पक्ष और निर्विवाद चुनाव के लिए अरविंद केजरीवाल बैलेट पेपर के जरिए एमसीडी चुनाव कराएं।” वहीं इस मुद्दे पर दिल्ली बीजेपी अध्यक्ष मनोज तिवारी ने कहा कि अगर अरविंद केजरीवाल को ईवीएम पर भरोसा नहीं है तो हमें उन 67 विधानसभा सीटों पर फिर से चुनाव करने दें जो उन्होंने जीती थीं।
