केन्द्रीय कैबिनेट ने बुधवार को 7th Pay Commission की सिफारिशों को मंजूरी दे दी है। 1 करोड़ से ज्यादा केन्द्रीय कर्मचारियों और पेंशनर्स के बेसिक पे में करीब 15 प्रतिशत की बढ़ोत्तरी होने की उम्मीद है। 1947 में पहले वेतन आयोग से लेकर अब तक के वेतन आयोगों में सबसे कम वेतन बढ़ोत्तरी (23.6 %) 7वें वेतन आयोग के द्वारा दी गई है। सोशल मीडिया पर 7वें वेतन आयोग को लेकर खूब चर्चा हो रही है। पे कमीशन की सिफारिशें लागू होने की खबर आते ही #7thPayCommission टॉप ट्रेंड्स में शामिल हो गया है। एक तरफ जहां लोग सरकार द्वारा वेतन बढ़ाए जाने के कदम का स्वागत कर रहे हैं, वहीं कुछ लोग अब सरकारी कर्मचारियों के रवैये में बदलाव की राह तक रहे हैं। एक यूजर ने ट्वीट किया कि सरकारी कर्मचारियों की न्यूनतम सैलरी 18,000 रुपए हो गई है, जो कि प्राइवेट सेक्टर में काम कर रहे 80 फीसदी कर्मचारियों के लिए किसी सपने से कम नहीं है। वहीं एक अन्य यूजर ने लिखा कि शायद अब सरकारी कार्यालयों में ‘खर्चा-पानी’ की मांग नहीं होगी।
