Aditya L1: इंडियन स्पेस रिसर्च ओर्गनाइजेशन (ISRO) ने इतिहास रच दिया है. इसरो का पहला सूर्य मिशन-आदित्य एल1 शनिवार (6 जनवरी) को लैग्रेंज प्वाइंट में दाखिल हो गया है. सितंबर 2023 में आंध्र प्रदेश के श्रीहरिकोटा से लॉन्च किया गया आदित्य एल1 आज अपनी आखिरी और बेहद जटिल प्रक्रिया से होकर गुजरा. प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने ट्वीट किया, “भारत ने एक और माइलस्टोन हासिल किया है. भारत की पहली सोलर ओबजर्वेटरी आदित्य-एल 1 अपनी मंजिल तक पहुंच गई. यह सबसे जटिल अंतरिक्ष मिशनों में से एक को साकार करने में हमारे वैज्ञानिकों के अथक समर्पण का प्रमाण है. मैं देशवासियों के साथ इस असाधारण उपलब्धि की सराहना करता हूं. हम मानवता के लिए विज्ञान की नई सीमाओं को आगे बढ़ाते रहेंगे.”
Aditya-L1, India’s first solar observatory, was successfully placed in the final orbit, its desired destination from where it will make observations of the Sun for the next five years. Aditya-L1 was successfully inserted into the Larange Point 1, one of the five locations in the Earth-Sun system where the gravitational effects of the two roughly cancel each other out. It is a relatively stable point for a spacecraft to be parked, and make observations of the Sun.
