Violence in Uttar Pradesh’s Sambhal occurred about 10 days ago, and the situation is gradually returning to normal. Amid this, news broke that a bulldozer action had taken place, raising several questions. AIMIM leader and MP Asaduddin Owaisi accused the Yogi government of using it for political motives. However, the bulldozer action was not carried out in the violence-affected area (Sadar tehsil) but in another area, Chandausi. The administration clarified that notices were issued before carrying out the demolition. The Supreme Court had previously intervened, placing a ban on such bulldozer actions, stating that punishing someone without a trial is wrong and that demolitions should only happen after adequate notice and time.
