Manipur Violence: Kuki-Zo समुदाय की मणिपुर में आदिवासियों के लिए उठायी ये मांग | Jantar Mantar

Manipur Violence: मणिपुर के कुकी-जो समुदाय के सैकड़ों लोगों ने दिल्ली के जंतर मंतर पर राज्य में जारी हिंसा के खिलाफ विरोध प्रदर्शन किया। कुकी छात्र संगठन द्वारा आयोजित इस प्रदर्शन में प्रदर्शनकारियों ने केंद्र सरकार से तुरंत ध्यान देने और कुकी-जो आदिवासियों के लिए विधानमंडल वाले केंद्र शासित प्रदेश के गठन की मांग की। लगभग 500 लोग, जिनमें से ज्यादातर काले कपड़े पहने हुए थे, देशभक्ति के गीत बजाते हुए, ‘भारत माता की जय’ के नारे लगाते हुए और मणिपुर के मुख्यमंत्री एन बिरेन सिंह के खिलाफ नारेबाजी करते हुए प्रदर्शन में शामिल हुए।

Hundreds from the Kuki-Zo community of Manipur staged a protest against the on-going violence in the state at New Delhi’s Jantar Mantar. Organised by the Kuki Students’ Organisation, the protestors demand immediate attention of the Centre for formation of Union Territory with legislature for the Kuki-Zo tribals. Around 500 people, most wearing black clothes, joined the protest, playing patriotic songs, chanting ‘Bharat Mata ki Jai’ and raising slogans against Manipur Chief Minister N Biren Singh.
