Himachal Weather: हिमाचल प्रदेश में 338 सड़कें बंद, IMD ने 18 अगस्त तक Heavy Rainfall की चेतावनी दी

Himachal Weather: हिमाचल प्रदेश में पिछले 24 घंटों में हुई भारी बारिश ने जनजीवन को बुरी तरह प्रभावित कर दिया है, जिससे राज्य के कई हिस्सों में बड़े पैमाने पर विनाश हुआ है। कम से कम 338 सड़कें और पांच राष्ट्रीय राजमार्ग—चंडीगढ़-मनाली एनएच 21; जालंधर-मंडी एनएच 70; एनएच 305, जो कुल्लू जिले में कुल्लू और सेराज को जोड़ता है; और एनएच 5, जो किन्नौर जिले में रिकांग पियो को शिमला से जोड़ता है, भूस्खलन, पत्थर गिरने और अन्य संबंधित घटनाओं के कारण अवरुद्ध हो गए हैं। भारतीय मौसम विज्ञान विभाग ने पूरे राज्य में 18 अगस्त तक अलग-अलग स्थानों पर भारी बारिश की संभावना जताते हुए येलो अलर्ट जारी किया है।

Himachal Weather: The high-intensity rain over the last 24 hours in Himachal Pradesh has thrown normal life off track, causing major destruction in several parts of the state. At least 338 roads along with five national highways—Chandigarh-Manali NH 21; Jalandhar-Mandi NH 70; NH 305, which connects Kullu and Seraj in Kullu district; and NH 5 near Nigulsari, which connects Reckong Peo to Shimla in Kinnaur district were blocked owing to landslides, stone shooting, and other related incidents. The India Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert, predicting heavy rainfall in isolated places throughout the state over the next week, until August 18.
