Farmers Protest: शंभू बॉर्डर (पंजाब) (Shambhu Border) पर आज किसानों का
बड़ा जत्था दिल्ली (Delhi) कूच के लिए तैयार है। अपनी मांगों को लेकर ये
किसान पैदल मार्च करेंगे। पुलिस ने सुरक्षा के पुख्ता इंतजाम किए हैं।
खनौरी बॉर्डर पर धारा 163 लगा दी गई है, जिससे पांच या उससे अधिक लोगों
के इकट्ठा होने पर रोक है। किसानों (Kisan Andolan) ने रात शंभू बॉर्डर
पर गुजारी और वीडियो जारी कर आरोप लगाया कि हरियाणा पुलिस (Haryana
Police) पर्दे के पीछे कार्रवाई की तैयारी कर रही है। अर्ध सैनिक बल,
वाटर कैनन, और आंसू गैस युक्त ड्रोन तैनात किए गए हैं। किसान संगठनों ने
उन 101 किसानों की सूची भी जारी की है, जो आज इस मार्च का हिस्सा होंगे।
Farmers’ Protest in Delhi Today Live News Updates: Security has been stepped up in the Haryana and Punjab borders of New Delhi as the Capital braces for the farmers’ march today. Traffic is likely to be hit due to the security arrangements at the border and the central parts of Delhi.
What are the arrangements? The Haryana police have added three layers of barricading towards the Punjab side. A wire mesh and traffic barricades with wheels were added and a tent was erected. The seven-layer barricading includes a wall, iron nails, barbed wires, etc. Meanwhile, the Punjab police have also increased their strength towards the Shambhu border as the crowd there has been growing.
Why are the farmers protesting? The farmers are mainly seeking a legal guarantee to minimum support price for crops. Besides that, they are also demanding a debt waiver, pension for farmers and farm labourers, and no hike in electricity tariff.
