The Supreme Court did not agree with the Central Bureau of Investigation’s position that the Aam Aadmi Party chief be relegated to the trial court to seek bail. The Supreme Court, while granting bail to Kejriwal in the Enforcement Directorate case earlier this year, put two conditions — “that he shall not visit the Office of the Chief Minister and the Delhi Secretariat; and that he shall not sign official files unless it is required and necessary for obtaining clearance/approval of the Lieutenant Governor of Delhi”. The apex court, while granting bail to Kejriwal in the CBI case on Thursday, had put the same conditions. AAP sources said Kejriwal does not hold any portfolio in the Cabinet and hence, does not sign many files in any case, with the relevant ministers doing the needful. They said a majority of decisions in Delhi need clearance or approval from the L-G and hence, there is no problem in Kejriwal signing those files as well. Also, Kejriwal can operate without going to the CMO or Delhi Secretariat as he will be a part of the official chain of communication on decisions, or can operate from home, AAP sources said.… और पढ़ें

Congress Candidate List Haryana Elections: हरियाणा विधानसभा चुनाव के लिए कांग्रेस पार्टी ने 40 उम्मीदवारों की लिस्ट जारी कर दीहै। कांग्रेस पार्टी ने इस लिस्ट में बड़े नेताओं के बच्चों और परिजनों को टिकट देने से भी परहेज नहीं किया। पार्टी के राष्ट्रीय महासचिव रणदीप सिंह सुरजेवाला के बेटे आदित्य सुरजेवाला को कैथल से, हिसार से कांग्रेस के सांसद जयप्रकाश के बेटे विकास सहारण को कलायत से उम्मीदवार बनाया गया है। इसके अलावा अंबाला से कांग्रेस के टिकट पर लोकसभा का चुनाव जीते वरुण चौधरी की पत्नी पूजा चौधरी को आरक्षित सीट मुलाना से टिकट दिया गया है। The Congress released its third list of 40 candidates for the October 5 Haryana Assembly elections on Wednesday night. In the wee hours, around 2 am, the party released five more candidates. Today is the last day of filing nominations. Four seats are yet to be declared. With this, the Congress has declared a total of 86 candidates for the polls to the 90-member assembly. Although, from the list it appeared that the party high command has attempted to strike a balance between Bhupinder Singh Hooda and Kumari Selja’s factions, a few of the FOUR seats, where candidates were yet to be announced, are being perceived as Selja’s stronghold. The FOUR seats where the Congress yet to name candidates include Uklana – from where Kumari Selja was also keen to contest if the party high command considers her as a nominee in the assembly polls – Narnaund, Sohna, and Bhiwani. Nirmal Singh has been fielded from Ambala City constituency. In 2019, Bhupinder Singh Hooda had vehemently supported Singh’s candidature, but failed, apparently due to Selja’s opposition. Dejected Nirmal Singh, a former minister, contested as Independent from Ambala City but lost to BJP’s Aseem Goel. From Panchkula seat, the Congress has fielded BJP leader Kuldeep Bishnoi’s elder brother and Haryana’s former chief minister Bhajan Lal’s son Chandermohan, a close aide of Kumari Selja.
