पिछले बुधवार (22 फरवरी) को दिल्ली विश्वविद्याल के रामजस कॉलेज से शुरू हुआ विवाद थमने का नाम ही नहीं ले रहा है। पहले ये विवाद सिर्फ छात्र संगठनों के बीच था अब धीने धीरे राजनीतिक और मशहूर हस्तियां भी इसमें उतरती जा रही है। इसी सिलसिलें में ताजा नाम है गीतकार, शायर जावेद अख्तर का। जावेद आख्तर ने गुलमेहर कौर के समर्थन में एक ऐसा ट्विट किया है जिसके कारण उन्हें ट्विटर पर व्यापक विरोध का सामना करना पड़ रहा है। अख्तर ने ट्वीट किया, ‘यदि कोई बमुश्किल साक्षर खिलाड़ी या पहलवान एक शहीद की शांतिप्रिय पुत्री को ‘ट्रोल’ करता है तो यह समझा जा सकता है लेकिन कुछ पढ़े लिखे व्यक्तियों को क्या हो गया है।’
जावेद अख्तर का इशारा वीरेन्द्र सहवाग, पहलवान योगेश्वर दत्त और बबीता फोगाट की तरफ था। जावेद अख्तर के बात का जवाब तो फोगाट परिवार ने दिया ही। ट्विटर पर भी लोग उनसे भिड़ गए। जावेद अख्तर ट्विटर पर ट्रोल करने लगे और देखते ही देखते उनके नाम पर ट्वीट्स की बाढ़ आ गई। इससे पहले जावेद अख्तर ने केंद्रीय मंत्री किरण रिजिजू पर भी गुरमेहर कौर पर उनकी टिप्पणी को लेकर निशाना साधा और इसे ‘अत्यंत पक्षपातपूर्ण’ बताया। अख्तर ने ट्वीट किया, ‘श्रीमान मंत्री, आपने वामपंथियों पर सैनिक के शहीद होने का जश्न मनाने का झूठा आरोप लगाकर निंदा की और एबीवीपी के बारे में एक शब्द भी नहीं कहा। मुझे उसके बारे में नहीं पता लेकिन श्रीमान मंत्री मुझे पता है कि आपका दिमाग कौन दूषित कर रहा है।’
