So that's all from here, folks! Hyderabad have had it really easy in the absence of MS Dhoni. That means things are really heating up in the middle of the table. Next up, we head to the capital to watch Delhi host Mumbai in a top-of-the-table clash. That one promises to be a cracker! You do not want to miss it, join us for the coverage of the same which will begin at 2000 local (1430 GMT) on Thursday. See you for that one, take care, cheers and goodbye!
MAN OF THE MATCH, David Warner says he is grateful for the supporters as they are one of the best and tells he appreciates the support. Tells sometimes while chasing there is a bit of hesitation and it is a bit difficult sometimes but reckons tonight's pitch was a little two-paced and hence he decided to attack from the word go. On the gesture from his daughter before the game Warner smiles and says he is blessed to have two beautiful daughters and wife and he feels lucky. On his selection in the Australian squad, Warner says he is happy to be selected and also tells that the fans in India are amazing and he enjoys playing here.
Hyderabad skipper, Kane Williamson says it is a very good all-round performance. Mentions they did well to come back in the second half of the first innings and they chased this down well. Reckons the wicket did not change a lot and they did well to adapt to the surface. Further adds he hopes to build on this victory. Credits the way Rashid has bowled for them and says he is a key bowler for them. Appreciates the knock by Warner and also the way Bairstow played. Ends by saying they weren't quite themselves in the last couple of games but is happy with the win here.
Jonny Bairstow says he is pleased to have been there till the end and that he was happy to finish the game. Mentions it is handy having a left-hand, right-hand combination at the top and he enjoys batting with Warner. Credits the bowlers for pulling back things in the second half in the first innings. Further mentions the bowlers are doing well, it is the batting which has to step up. States they were a bit more ruthless and were hungry for the victory today. Credits the way Rashid has bowled and says it is difficult to pick him.
Chennai skipper, Suresh Raina says this loss is a good wake up call. Admits they kept losing wickets at regular intervals and could not capitalize on the start they got. Mentions they should have rotated the strike better in the first half and built more partnerships. Further adds Dhoni might play the next game for them and creidts the way Tahir has been bowling. Ends by saying they have to continue to play as a unit and everybody has to do their job.
Earlier on in the evening, Chennai got off to a really good start courtesy Faf du Plessis and Shane Watson. They made 80 runs in the first 10 overs but failed to even double it in the next 10 as they ended up with just 52 runs and 132 on the board. Rashid Khan and co. were brilliant in pulling things back and that meant that the hosts got their much-needed victory!
Going after the target of 133 set by Chennai, the hosts started off in ruthless fashion scoring more than 65 runs by the time the Powerplay ended with their in-form opener David Warner getting to his fifty in 23 balls. He fell the very next ball but he had already put his side in commanding position. The skipper, Williamson failed with the bat but Warner's opening partner, Bairstow had another good outing and got to his first fifty of the League, while ensuring that the game was completed with ease. About the Chennai bowling, well not much can be said as the total to be defended was too low. Tahir was brilliant once more and the spinners did do their best but the opening blast that they faced meant this night was going to belong to Hyderabad.
A simple chase in the end. The total looked well under par and it did end up being that way as Hyderabad have coasted to an easy victory and brought their 3-match losing run to an end. Warner set the platform with a blazing fifty, his opening partner batted through till the end and ensured that there were no hiccups as the game was finished with more than 3 overs left. Chennai meanwhile have been stunned and lost their second game of the season, and terribly missed their original skipper, MS Dhoni who was rested in this game due to a back strain.

Plays the slog sweep but not off the middle, it goes towards deep mid-wicket for a single.
Strategic break! Hyderabad have ensured that the quick wickets of Warner and Williamson has not affected the chase and they have built on the super platform that was laid for them. Shankar did fall but Bairstow's calm and composed knock has ensured victory is within touching distance. Meanwhile, Chennai will need a miracle to win this one and for once, an Indian T20 League game seems to be finishing early and not being a cliffhanger. Some relief for all the high blood pressure people!

01st InningsChennai Super Kings
So 133 to get off 20. A look at the score card might make you feel it's Hyderabad's game but the pitch is a slow one and it has been difficult to score runs. Hyderabad's middle order has been a cause of concern. It will be interesting to see how they approach this chase. Chennai will need wickets as that's the only way they can win this game. Do join us for the second innings as the chase is not far away.
Rashid Khan is caught down for a chat. He informs us that the wicket is a new one which they have not played on before but it was a good one for bowling with some bounce and turn. He mentions the plan was to bowl wicket to wicket and try to put pressure on the batsmen, inducing the wickets. He also smiles and laughs off when asked what was going on between him and Raina out in the middle saying it was all a friendly banter!
As for Hyderabad's bowling, Rashid Khan was the star with the ball and gave away just 17 off his 4 picking up 2. Apart from Shahabaz Nadeem, who went for 24 off his 2, the rest of the bowlers were economical and bowled in the right areas and will feel they have done their job heading into the break.
Excellent comeback from Hyderabad. 80 off the first 10 but only 52 have come off the last 10. They have managed to pull things back and will be the happier of the two sides at the break. After a solid opening partnership between Watson and du Plessis, Chennai struggled big time and kept losing wickets at regular interval. Apart from Rayudu, Watson and Faf the rest hardly scored at run a ball. Ambati Rayudu stayed till the end but struggled for timing through out. In the end, after a solid start, Chennai could not get to even 140 and have ended up with 132 on the board.

Another dot! Lovely stuff! Short again on middle, Jadeja goes for the pull but once again misses.
Some issue here... Jadeja after missing this bouncer has asked the umpire whether the previous delivery was called as 'one for the over'! In which case, this should have been a wide or a no ball. The umpires though are unmoved and the 5th ball will be counted as a dot as well!

FOUR! Excellently played by Rayudu. He surely holds the key for Chennai. Once again it is slightly short and Rayudu cuts it past point for a boundary.
A slight halt in play here... The umpires are getting the bails checked and exchanged it as the lights on one of them was not functioning. Should not be too much of a delay though!

NOT OUT! That did not take the edge but it hit the back pad. The impact though was umpire's call. A good review in the end and it was more out of hope. Had they got Rayudu, the last recognized batsman would have been in the hut. A rippa this one by Rashid. It is flatter and it pitches on off, it spins away sharply. Rayudu looks to defend but seems to have missed it. Rashid is appealing but the umpire shakes his head. Williamson decides to take it upstairs. Replays roll in and it shows no inside edge but the ball to be hitting the back pad. Hawk Eye shows the on-field call is the right one when checked for LBW. Just a single from the 17th. A top last over by Rashid. He finishes with figures of 4-0-17-2.

Strategic Break! Hyderabad have done well to bounce back and have picked 5 wickets. They have kept it tight and put pressure on Chennai batsmen. On the other hand, Chennai are losing their way after a good start from the openers. They need atleast 150 to challenge Hyderabad on this wicket which is becoming slower and slower. Kedar looks to flick but misses. The ball hits him on the front pad, an appeal and the umpire agrees. Jadhav reviews but replays once again show the on-field call is the right one. Vijay Shankar is caught down for a chat with Anjum Chopra. He says he was not too concerned about the World Cup selection, there were discussions held regarding the World Cup selection but he just wanted to play well for Hyderabad. Says after selection he was happy but tells it is important to do good here and not think too far ahead. Mentions most of the games the team has played well and it was just a matter of 2-3 overs where they did not do well and the team is looking to get it right.
Hyderabad (Playing XI) - David Warner, Jonny Bairstow(WK), Kane Williamson(C), Vijay Shankar, Yusuf Pathan (IN), Deepak Hooda, Rashid Khan, Shahbaz Nadeem (IN), Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Sandeep Sharma, K Khaleel Ahmed.
Chennai (Playing XI) - Shane Watson, Faf du Plessis, Suresh Raina(C), Sam Billings(WK)(IN), Ambati Rayudu, Kedar Jadhav, Ravindra Jadeja, Karn Sharma (IN), Deepak Chahar, Shardul Thakur, Imran Tahir.
Hyderabad skipper, Kane Williamson, says they would have batted first as well but reckons the pitch will hold up well and it is important to bowl well. Tells that the top 2 are going well and hopes they can continue their form but the middle order needs to do better when called upon. Informs there are 2 changes, Abhishek Sharma and Ricky Bhui are replaced by Yusuf Pathan and Shahbaz Nadeem. Tells that the changes are to accommodate the balance of the team.
Chennai skipper, Suresh Raina, says they want to bat first. Reckons the record here favors team batting first. States they will have to be good in the Powerplay, especially against Hyderabad's top three. He hopes to put up a good score and put the pressure on the opposition. Informs Dhoni and Santner go out and Billings and Karn Sharma come in.
TOSS - Surprise, surprise, it is Suresh Raina who is walking out for the toss which means no Dhoni tonight. Chennai win the toss and they will bat first.
First 4 games, 3 wins and 1 loss, the next three games, three losses. That has been the story so far for Hyderabad. They are on a downward spiral and even the inclusion of Kane Williamson did not resolve their batting issues. They have slipped to 7th on the table and need to get back to winning ways quickly if they are to finish in the top four. A stern test awaits them tonight as they take on the table toppers, Chennai who are on a roll. They already have a 4 point lead over the no. 2 spot and a win here will see them make it 6. Will they do so or will Hyderabad come out victorious. Welcome to the coverage.

World Cup Final: विवादास्पद ओवरथ्रो पर अंपायर धर्मसेना ने तोड़ी चुप्पी, कहा- मैं कभी भी अपने फैसले पर पछताता नहीं

World Cup Final, Overthrow Runs: विश्वकप 2019 के फाइनल मैच में इंग्लैंड को ओवरथ्रो के जरिए 6 रन दिए गए थे, जबकि तमाम एक्सपर्ट का मानना था कि वहां 5 रन ही जोड़े जाने चाहिए थे।

ICC Cricket World Cup
